I started pursuing woodworking because it enabled me to intimately interact and collaborate with nature, to understand its properties, its moods, and its characteristics.  I like to work with wood because, like my own thoughts, I find wood too is ever-changing and dynamic, something which is often quite difficult to predict. Every piece of wood is different and has its own unique story. Thus working with wood is always a process full of surprises and challenges that offers me an opportunity to continuously grow and learn. I chose to study at The Krenov School because it continues to follow the philosophy of working with wood with heightened sensitivity. I believe that the intensive nature of the program will challenge me to go beyond my present knowledge, skills, and aspirations, and guide me towards a path of continuous discoveries and progress.
