Emma Neil

I love spaces, rooms, the things in them, the feelings they hold and give. I want to spend my time creating environments. I want to build a house and carve the light switches in it. I want to make every piece of furniture, I want to bend the chairs and turn the lamps and pane the windows. I want to create things with creativity and freedom with care and precision, things that pour out of my mind and my fingers that couldn’t come from anyone but me. I want to make things both unique and familiar. Things that have a feeling, things with a soul. I want to trust myself and see what comes out. I’m here at the Krenov School to learn skills to help me do that and to give myself time and space to start that journey.
