Emily is a builder, dog lover, and tender-of-plants from Western Massachusetts. After building theater sets in high school and college, they pursued a vocational training in cabinetmaking at The New England School of Architectural Woodworking in 2015, where they discovered their passion for fine woodworking. Since then they’ve worn many hats, working as a finisher, bench carpenter, residential carpenter, and handy-person.
Emily hopes to bring what they’ve learned this year back home to Western Mass, with dreams of starting a cooperatively run community wood shop.
