Hugh has never been able to keep still and always found joy in keeping his hands busy. From little pinewood derby cars as a kid to building his own surfboards, the nature of crafting has always been fascinating to him. A love of working with wood discovered through construction has led him to the College of the Redwoods and it has been a dream. The environment, the people, and the challenge have been beyond expectation and he is excited for the year ahead.
