In the process of recovering from a life in visual effects and 3D animation in the deep South to Los Angeles, Matt happily found his way from the computer desk to the workbench.  He joins the program with roughly three years of self-training that took him from nails and screws to tenons and dovetails.  Thanks to the persistence of a friend and CRFW alumna, the romance of the craft, school and the PNW, and the never-ending drive towards perfection he gratefully accepts the challenge of the class of 2016-2017.
