Hailing from Lake Bluff, Illinois, Tyler (28) went to the University of Georgia where he received his degree in forestry science. After school, Tyler decided to try his hand at woodworking with a local artist. Tyler discovered his passion for working with his hands and began researching woodworking schools. Upon finding College of the Redwoods Fine Furniture, Tyler, his wife (Katelyn), their 3 dogs and cat packed up and headed out west. Tyler hopes to discover his aesthetic during the nine-month program, as well as learn many new skills.
