As a photographer I gradually became less interested with the image and more so with the frames they were in and how they were made. Intuitively I felt a great imbalance generating almost entirely from my mind while being divorced from the sensitivity of my own hands and body. It is among this community of wonderful and dedicated teachers, peers, materials, tools and commitment to craft I seek to reunite my mind and body together.
I guess touching wood and asking it questions I feel closer, to what exactly I don’t know but it feels like the right direction.
