Anja Simpson

I am coming to the Krenov School from Carbondale, Colorado, where I was raised immersed in the local artist community. I’ve studied and worked with a variety of materials, including glass, clay, and metal, but I’ve always felt most drawn to wood.
I’m excited for the opportunity to spend the next nine months working intentionally with wood, slowing down and developing a deeper understanding of both the material and the craft. I’m especially looking forward to learning alongside a community of people who share my curiosity and respect for the process.
