My introduction to woodworking came in 2020 when I was building beehives for my apiary in Davenport, CA. Beekeepers will often say of small gaps in the hives they’ve made ‘the bees don’t care.’ They’ll simply fill the gaps with plant resin. As my interest in woodworking developed beyond just the building of beehives my tolerance for gaps became smaller. Now as I’m starting at the Krenov School my tolerance for gaps leaps smaller still.

I’m so thrilled to be here at this special school for a time away from time.
