Born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho, I grew up spending most of my spare time in my father’s metal fabrication shop, where I learned not only the industrial approach to fabrication, but the value of attention to detail and fine craftsmanship. When I wasn’t working, I was still dirtying my hands making copper flowers and jewelry, always as gifts. Throughout time, though I maintain my live of working with metals, I experienced a growing love of wood, and I followed that to the Krenov School where I hope to further develop a detail-oriented mind in craft and in my view of the world.
