I’m a native son of a farming family in the Central Valley. Woodworking has been an avocation for over 30 years, providing a reliable, rhythmic sanctuary from the demands of a professional career, a family business, and many of the other distractions of modern life. I appreciate the smells and sounds at the heart of the craft… the tactile directness and honesty… the circular economy of transforming a fantastic living thing toward another purpose.
At the Krenov School, I hope to hone my skills and enliven my creativity to continue at the work bench for another 30 years, creating graceful, beautiful, useful things.
