Class of 2027
Ridgewood,
 NJ

I grew up in New Jersey, and my background includes a degree in philosophy, teaching English abroad in Serbia, bookselling, and museum archival work. I became interested in woodworking through my appreciation for the arts and the natural world. In 2022, I moved to Maine to take a three-month class at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. I was later employed as a furniture builder by two different studios and then worked in residential construction and did various carpentry jobs. Going to the Krenov School is a gift, a beautiful opportunity to reset my focus on craft and wood and deepen my relationship with well-made objects of utility and grace. I am grateful to be able to learn here.
