Joshua came to California from New York City, where he worked on commercial photography sets and in post-production. He was introduced to traditional joinery while living in Japan, and is interested in both modern and traditional designs and techniques. Joshua was drawn to the rigorous training offered by the College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking instructors, and the opportunity to live on the beautiful Northern California Coast with his long-suffering wife.
