Julia Farner

I’m from Ojai, CA, and came here to formalize my education in woodworking and to look for the ways in which it can happen in a context and mindset that is grounded, first and foremost, in our forests. My background is in sustainable agriculture and regenerative forestry, and I’m interested in thinking about woodworking as an inherently ecological practice that can be positive, negative, or neutral. I’m hopeful about finding and practicing the positive angles, and am honored and grateful to be learning in this place, in this shop, and with these people.
