I am a born and raised Northern Californian and a general life enthusiast. I came to my love of carpentry and woodwork through watching my dad build my family’s house around us. Over the last decade, I’ve worked in different corners of the carpentry and construction universe – from large-scale puppets to conventional construction to small-scale furniture making, with an emphasis on building and maintaining community organizing and workshop spaces. I find deep purpose in dedicating my work to the function and beauty of everyday infrastructure and I am in a life-long courtship with the sacred behind-the-scenes work it takes to keep communal spaces running smoothly and sustainably.
Beyond woodwork, my love of using my hands shows up in my pottery, doodles, touching dirt, and cooking meals for friends. After a brief stint in LA, I am so happy to be back amongst the big trees attending the Krenov School and spending more time on my bike than in my car.
