My introduction to woodworking began with my father, who helped me build several simple pieces of furniture during my senior year at UCSC. I became enamored with the process of designing and making furniture by hand. Shortly thereafter I was fortunate enough to work with several CR graduates, and I found their skill and manner of work inspiring. I am extremely grateful to be attending this program and hope to produce work that reflects that.
