Robin Wilson has been relentlessly creative since he could hold a pencil, exploring a variety of art forms including painting, illustration, small-scale sculpture, bookbinding, mold-making, and visual special effects. He has spent much of the past decade working diligently as a cabinetmaker at Wilson & Sons, his family’s business, alongside a number of CR graduates. He harbors a fascination with organic patterns and the aesthetic balance of nature. Growing up in the California wine country, a culture marked by the blatant division between extreme wealth and near-poverty, has left Robin with an abiding disdain for decadence and ostentation, and a reverence for home-brewed, anarchic design, and he delights in the resurrection and glorification of discarded materials.
