Rosa Matsa

I grew up on the island of Cyprus, but have lived in NYC for the last 10 years, so that is home for the most part. I am here because I have loved anything furniture for a very long time and over the years it got to a point where I wanted to learn more about it, then I wanted to design it, and then I eventually wanted to learn how to make it and got into that as a hobby while working as a user experience designer at startups and later on at Google, which was my last tenure in tech. I realized I was sitting in front of a computer all day long and instead what I wanted to do was be in front of a bench working with my hands making furniture.
