
This class will introduce students to the tools, techniques and procedures involved in relief carving in wood.
Objectives
Familiarize students with woodcarving tools, their types and the procedure for sharpening them.
Produce a sequence of projects introducing various techniques.
Discuss design considerations special to relief carving in wood.
